Reflection Park's Caring for Caregivers series is dedicated to honoring and supporting the amazing individuals who provide compassionate care to those nearing the end of life. Whether you're a death doula, hospice care worker, chaplain, family caregiver, or anyone else committed to accompanying and caring for others during their final days, this program is for you. Both professional and informal caregivers are welcome!
Our fall edition of Caring for Caregivers will take place in the Sacred Circle, an enchanting meeting place nestled within a ring of trees. From the comfort of our new anti-gravity chairs, fellow end-of-life caregiver, Lee Ann Blank, will offer a sound bath as we gaze up at the tree canopy. Lee is a drum circle facilitator, registered yoga teacher, and licensed massage therapist who will use her handpan, buffalo drum, singing bowl, koshi chimes, and rattles to complement the soothing sounds of nature.
For those who spend much of their time holding space for others, this sound bath is an invitation to be held — by the forest and the community of people who understand the weight of this work.
